1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website or engaging Quantix Engineers ("Quantix," "we," "us," or "our") for estimating services, you ("client," "you") agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.

2. Description of Services

Quantix Engineers provides construction cost estimating and quantity takeoff services, including but not limited to residential, commercial, industrial, MEP, civil and site work, interior fit-out estimating, and cost consulting. Services are provided on a project-by-project basis as agreed between Quantix and the client.

• Estimates are prepared based on the drawings, specifications and information the client provides.
• Where information is missing or unclear, reasonable assumptions and allowances will be noted in the delivered estimate.
• Quantix does not provide architectural, engineering, or legal design services, and estimates should not be treated as a substitute for licensed design or engineering review.

3. Quotes, Pricing & Payment

A price quote will be provided before work begins on any project, based on scope, project size, and requested turnaround. Quoted prices are valid for the timeframe stated in the quote.

• Payment terms are agreed at the time of quoting and may include a deposit prior to work starting.
• Estimates are delivered only after payment terms outlined in the applicable quote have been met, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Rush or expedited turnaround requests may incur an additional fee, which will be disclosed before work begins.

4. Project Files & Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing accurate, legible and reasonably complete project files. Quantix is not responsible for inaccuracies in the final estimate that result from incomplete, outdated, or incorrect drawings and specifications supplied by the client.

• Clients should promptly notify Quantix of any revisions to drawings after an estimate has begun.
• Clients are responsible for verifying that the correct, most current version of a plan set has been submitted.

5. Turnaround Time & Delivery

Estimated turnaround times (typically 24–48 hours for standard projects) are provided in good faith and may vary based on project complexity, scope changes, or file legibility. Turnaround time begins once a complete plan set and any required payment have been received.

6. Intellectual Property & Confidentiality

Project drawings and files submitted by the client remain the property of the client. Deliverables prepared by Quantix (estimates, takeoff sheets, and related work product) are licensed to the client for use on the applicable project upon full payment.

• Quantix treats all client project files and details as confidential and does not share them with third parties except as required to complete the engagement or as required by law.
• A signed non-disclosure agreement is available upon request for particularly sensitive projects.
• The Quantix Engineers name, logo, and website content are the property of Quantix and may not be reproduced without permission.

7. Revisions & Refund Policy

If a delivered estimate contains an error caused by Quantix, we will correct the affected line items at no additional charge. Requests for corrections should be submitted within 14 days of delivery.

• Re-estimates required due to client-provided revisions to drawings are treated as a new scope of work and may be quoted separately.
• Because estimating work begins upon receipt of project files, fees for work already completed are generally non-refundable; refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

8. Limitation of Liability

Estimates provided by Quantix are professional opinions of probable cost based on the information available at the time of preparation. Actual project costs may vary due to market conditions, site conditions, bidding results, or scope changes beyond our control.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Quantix's total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid by the client for the specific estimate giving rise to the claim. Quantix is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost bids.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our website and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we take care to deliver accurate and well-reviewed estimates, we do not warrant that any estimate will exactly match final bid, contract, or construction costs, which depend on factors outside our control.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate an active engagement with written notice. The client remains responsible for payment for any work completed up to the point of termination.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Quantix Engineers is registered to do business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising under these terms will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
